Rfl Cstllo. Add some vowels to get my name right. I live somewhere in Manila but I study somewhere in the Cordillera. I used to blog everyday, but there's just a lot of other things that keeps me busy these days.
So I just realized that October 26, 2011 is not a Thursday. Which is the day that we would be going back "there". How pathetic. Now, I'm going to download all Kyo Kara Maoh episodes just for a classmate. Even though I'm not interested in the show anymore, or any Anime's for that matter. Although I still randomly watch some titles, but that doesn't count that I'm not anymore an otaku (anime enthusiast) unlike before.
Now I'm going to maximize (or whatever the appropriate word is) my day today. Here are my things to do today: download the episodes, download two movies, find a downloadable full version of Burger Island 1 or Hotdog Hotshot, clean up the laptop, find cool wallpapers, transfer the GTA: Vice City Stories on the PSP, try to play the said game, clean up the blog's labels, don't get excited nor nervous about enrollment, remember that I need to have the second shot for the Hepa B thingy, so on and so forth.
That's it for today. I think I need to drink a gallon of coffee. Just kidding.
Labels
Saturday, October 15, 2011 @ 11:41 AM
So I decided to delete all the labels I have in this blog. They're just too many. I didn't even bother to count. The funny thing is, the Label side panel, or whatever you call it, is still there. And whenever I click on one label, the post is still showing with a label! Not on the actual blog, but in Blogger. It's really pathetic for me because for all these years, I've been labeling too many posts with random labels instead of just no label at all. Now, I'm just going to label one post with one label. 'Nuff said.
Now I'm hungry and I am still feeling really sleepy. I want to eat oreos, and dip them on milk. Por pabor, please give me some?
The 90's (And Early 00's)
Friday, October 14, 2011 @ 11:27 PM
Remember the old Nickelodeon (Nick), Cartoon Network (CN) and Disney Channel (DC) when they were showing awesome cartoons and shows such as Hey Arnold!, The Wild Thornberrys, Rugrats, Cat and Dog, Ren and Stimpy, Angry Beavers, Roco's Life, Rocket Power, Ah! Real Monsters, Gullah Gullah Island, Blue's Clues, Powerpuff Girls, Cow and Chicken, Dexter's Laboratory, Recess, Kenan and Kel, All That, Figure it Out, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, The Amanda Show...and many more others? That, my friends, were shows from the most amazing era for me, The 90's (and please include the Early 00's as well).
I was born during the 90's. On 1993 to be precise. But I only started watching these shows in the early 2000's. I was about 6 or 7 when I started watching cable channels since my family subscribed to Sky Cable (later satellite, then Destiny as of the moment). Nick and CN were my first loves of course, since DC came out like three years later. I must admit that I don't remember how and when I watch these shows but I do remember watching most of these during the afternoon, right after school, lying on the couch like a lazy person while I'm eating my afternoon snack or doing my homework. Funny thing is, I do remember being addicted to Dora the Explorer and I would watch it everyday after school.
My favorites were Rugrats, Powerpuff Girls (which still air, but I rarely watch it right now) and The Wild Thornberrys. I was addicted to TV. Probably one of the main reasons why I am wearing eyeglasses today. Or maybe it's genetics. Or maybe not. But I don't curse the TV of course, because it gives entertainment and plenty of information. The sad thing is right now, that the TV gives so much entertainment that it does not give any fun now at all.
Ever since I came to Baguio, I barely touched the TV remote or watched TV at all. Well, I do have a DVD player slash TV with a very small antenna. The sad thing is, it only gives me three channels. Which sucks. But I can live with that. I mean, I've been watching on it since the Summer Term, so basically, I survived with such thing. As a result, I barely know most of the TV shows these days and I've read and heard that they're not as good as it should've been the past TV shows of the past decade. I do like the new ones, like Phineas and Ferb (or is it old now? Lol. I'm very outdated, see?), but like many others, I hate most of the shows today.
The 90's (and the Early 00's) will always be the best era for me. Not because I had so much fun watching the TV, but I had the best days because it was also my childhood years. Right now, kids are glued to their computer seats. But, when I was their age, I was outside, playing tumbang preso or patintero. I was not only watching one cartoon, but I was watching dozens of cartoons and TV shows that were really intended for my age. Now, I'm thinking of downloading episodes of these shows. Just for old time's sake.

Dusty Treasures
Thursday, October 13, 2011 @ 2:05 PM
So I decided to look for the Sweet Valley High Evil Twin book my sister bought ages ago. Which I have also read years ago. I didn't find it (maybe I'll find it later). Instead, I found some old K-Zone issues (I think one of them was the very first issue I bought). Which was really cool for me because I thought I've lost them all :)) I also found my old school medals and an old high school newspaper issue (back from 2007 mind you). All were in the dusty old box for books, notebooks, folders and other things. My treasure hunting resulted good finds, but also skin rash. But it's minimal, so, you don't have to worry. Haha.
Still, I'll be looking for that SVH book. Something inside me wants to read it again.
Gone Are The Days
Sunday, October 09, 2011 @ 2:57 PM
I'm back. In case you haven't noticed, I haven't been here for a while. I mean, a LONG TIME. I haven't even swept the dust yet here on this blog. Maybe later, or maybe, never.
The reason why I don't blog much these days it's because everything seems to be fast-paced. Like, people are only saying what they need to say through short Facebook statuses (which I don't do actually) and of course, through short Twitter tweets (which I usually do). Blogging is, should I say, not so much popular right now. I remember being the only one who actually blogs in my class during High School. Still, I blogged because it was my favorite thing to do. Since college started, I haven't blogged that much. Mainly because of school and I have limited time to use the internet. In short, blogging is not the main thing for me anymore. Still, I'm doing it right now because I just miss what I usually do during the old days. Say I'm weird, but it's just who I really am.
I still remember my best friend (or should I say a best friend since I know we haven't talked in a long time) saying how good my blog is. It was a weird thing for me since I do know that I never told her about this blog, or me as a blogger for that matter. There were other compliments as well from other people. Like friends I met in KHQ, which is now a defunct forum. And yes, I do miss the old days of posting in forums and just having fun in there. Now, all of those are just memories. Sometimes, I can't even believe that they happened. But they did, and I am thankful that I experienced being involved in blogging and in forums.
Gone are the days of blogging and posting in forums and other websites. Still, here I am, trying to bring back the old days. I know, it wouldn't be as great as it was. And I know, it wouldn't post in every day as I did before. But one thing I'm sure is that I will not stop blogging, nor thinking about what I will type or write. It's part of my everyday life. And so are yours.
