Trade Fair Promotion
Saturday, January 30, 2010 @ 4:48 PM
Hooray for another layout and a new post after such a long time.

Although, I must say, I'm not really here to post about something about me. It's more of our school activity which is the Trade Fair. On that fair, all HS Seniors of Pasig Catholic College will be selling goods and other things to everyone, PCCians and non-PCCians. And since I will be a part of it, I am here to promote our group's products.

Our booth will be The Food Pyramid. It was originally planned to be a Starbucks-like food booth. Since our teacher did not allow us for some reasons, we decided to sell cheesesticks, pancit bihon, and grahams instead. You might be wondering, an Egyptian-themed food booth, yet what we'll be selling are not even connected to the theme. I must agree, it is not. Since we cannot think of anymore foods to sell and other themes, we got stuck with the idea.

Here's our poster promoting our food booth, which is made by yours truly:

So, if you're near Pasig or even if you are far from Pasig, try visiting our food booth. I may not give you a discount for the food that you'll be buying, but I'll try to please my group mates. :)) And make sure I do know you, or else, I won't entertain you >D

My Positive Outlook
Sunday, January 17, 2010 @ 7:41 PM
[I wrote this during our Computer class. Okay, I was bored reading long Cisco topics and all. So, instead of reading, I created this future blog post. And here it is now :))]

It has been months now since I took exams in almost all of the schools I can think I can "fit" in. Although I must say, some just popped out of my head for no reason at all or Mom wanted me to apply there.

I remember saying that I wanted to pass all (exams). I remember saying that I may not be able to pass all. But I did believe in the first thought, for most of the people around me always say: I am an optimistic person. But being optimistic I may seem to be, I already failed three out of the six I've already known of the results. Of course, I felt sad and depressed for I wanted to pass these schools. But, somehow, something inside of me still makes a positive outlook that I can still pass the other two tests. I cannot imagine myself seeing the Oblation in front of me or living away on the cold weather amidst the top of the mountains.

But, even with these impossible imaginations, with the love and guidance of the Someone Great above me, everything can be possible.
What brags you to favor a teacher. Cite examples. Lol.

BRAG ME TO HELL! I must apologize to myself for using a wrong word yesterday. Instead of using drag or any word related to it, I used "brag" in which actually means to speak in an arrogant manner. I was used with this sentence since I started having knowledge to this world: "Stop bragging me." For a thought, yesterday, I was thinking that it meant to be like "pushing" or "forcing". I must have been excited since we were making survey questions for our thesis (hence the post title - favoring a teacher).

But, anyway, moving on with that topic. UST Entrance Test Results will be out for tomorrow. I just can't imagine that it has been months since I took the test in that Spanish-era/Antique university (But hey, it's one of the Top 10 Universities in the Philippines :>). UPCAT and ACET results (16th) will also be out this week. Not sure of when the UPCAT results will be shown, but according to the UPCAT website (http://upcat.up.edu.ph/results/), the results will also be shown this week. I must say, this week is what I call the Results Week. :))

* SLU results will probably be out the end of January. I forgot the date they told us during the test. :P

And I Thought Knowing College Tests Results Are Easy
Sunday, January 03, 2010 @ 7:25 PM
When I was searching if the ACET and UPCAT results are already available (for the nth time this last days), there, I found out that the DLSUCET results are already available. Off I went to the DLSU website (http://enroll.dlsu.edu.ph/dlsu/freshmen/freshmen). But, when the web page has finally ended loading, it was asking me for the reference number in the test permit! Since I forgot where I placed the permit (in which from what I remember, I last saw it during the day I took the DLSUCET), I "raped" every folder, envelope, the UST folder, and the Mapua view book. Even the bag that I had with me during the test and my mother's collection of bags. But, even if I did all these things as much as possible, I didn't find my test permit. *Sad* So, I have to wait for tomorrow to end so that I can have a time to call DLSU to find out what my reference number is. I'm too lazy to wait for another 2-3 weeks (school posting and mail) to know the results.

I must say, I didn't do my actual best during the test. Just used most of the knowledge I have and some "hula" (but I do remember answering a Trigo question and did it correctly XD). Whatever the results maybe, even if I was destined or not destined to become a La Sallian, I'm still proud of myself of taking the test. Not everyone likes to pay PHP600 just for an application form, not everyone is a fan of La Salle (that includes me XD). So, I say goodluck Raf, I know that you will pass the DLSUCET. :>

---

Edited.

So, my sister found the test permit. And I ran towards the computer bringing along the test permit. I didn't pass. Aw. :< It's okay. Maybe I am not destined to become a La Sallian after all.

We regret to inform you that you did not qualify for any of the degree programs that you have applied for.

Wow. Out of four degree programs. None qualified.
