I Shall Conquer The Problems, NMW :)
Monday, March 30, 2009 @ 6:37 PM
Current mood: Good.
Current music: Save You - Simple Plan

Every night. Every morning. I promise God that I'll conquer every single trial or problem He'll ever give me. I shall find an answer. I shall be good, no matter what. But today, there were a lot. It was weird, but I know that everyday that I commit a lot of them. As I've said, today were a lot. A lot that I thought it wouldn't be.

But you see, God didn't let me down. I told to myself, smile whatever happens. And right now, its happening again. Smile, Raf, smile. As if God is really telling me to do it. Truthfully because I also ask Him to never let me down, always make me smile, make me happy, make me joy and fun.

Four days ago, probably one of the huge decision I ever made in this Teen Life of mine. I decided to update The Adventure Within again, and after 2 long years that is. Huge decision? Of course. I promised myself to cancel it again, but after re-reading it five days ago, I had the guts to re-write it again. I thought: its a great story naman pala. Why did I ever thought of canceling it? LOL. Okay, I know, its because of school and bored-to-update reasons. But right now, I'll continue it no matter what. Its something that I wrote before, and I need to practice my writing skills again. :))

Truth is, after discontinuing TAW, I wrote many stories in my PC. Unfinished stories that is :)) But, all of them have different meanings, plots, etc. So, hopefully, those unfinished stories should give me ideas on my upcoming updates in TAW.

AND if you're a KHQer, I'm in need of new characters. If you ever want to be, please do send a message via the TAW's new thread, a PM to me in KHQ, or my thread in No ID.

Also in this post that I want to thank God that You gave me an opportunity to have good writing skills. I know that not all people has that kind of skill. Thank you po! Amen. :3

I guess that would be all. I'm not being "banal" or something (and its an UNAPPROPRIATE word to use), but I'm just thanking God. So, if you're teasing me on being banal or anything, have you thanked God just for once for giving YOU a life?

Uh. Yeah. Babai. :))

Bohol and Cebu 2009
Thursday, March 26, 2009 @ 9:11 AM
Current Mood: Good.
Current Music: Right Now (Na Na Na) - Akon (I'm just plain bored. T.T)

We first arrived in Bohol (via Tagbilaran Airport), rode the taxi that Mom hired via the internet, then off to Cebu via a 2 hour boat ride.

Cebu was more likely turning into a Manila, probably it's called The Queen City of the South. Buildings here, buildings there. But what makes it still a province is that there's not much traffic, not much pollution, and beaches exist XD.

We too toured Cebu. We went to Magellan's Cross, the Basilica of Sto. Niño (where the 1500's Sto. Niño is located - but we didn't see it), Fort San Pedro (the oldest and smallest Fort that the Spaniards made), The Philippine Taoist Temple (which is in Beverly Hills - the village that the Ayala's developed in Cebu), Two Restaurants, and the Lapu-Lapu Shrine. And, we only stayed in Cebu for an overnight.

After waking up early due to an early departure from Cebu, we rode another boat ride back to Bohol for another 2 hours.

We toured first the Chocolate Hills, an hour away from the Port of Tagbilaran. It was a great view. Thinking before that there were only a few hills, they're numbered pala as 1,000+. After viewing the hills, the man-made forest was made. Tall trees (don't know what they really are called) were planted around 40 years ago by the government. As a tourist, I was happy that the Philippines has a kind of forest just like what other countries have. After it, we went to a Tarsier viewing site. Poor Tarsiers, they're not as free as they should be. Though they're not really caged (they're placed at plant-like-trees), they should not be there. Tarsiers are cute and small, but they need to be free too. After being sad by the Tarsiers, we had a fun ride in a floating boat. Eating our lunch there and meeting an Ati Tribe. After being so full from that boat ride, we passed by the Blood Compact Site, where Datu Sikatuna and Miguel Lopez de Legazpi had a "Sandugo". After picturing our silly poses there, we ate flower petals (yes, real life flower petals), or the so-called "Flower Salad" at the Bohol Bee Farm. You can eat, taste, and smell the flower petals. After eating the flower salad, we went straight to our resort and swam on the beach and the swimming pool.

We arrived at Bohol last Sunday, March 22 and left on March 24. It was a good trip, no, a great trip exactly.

Hm. I wonder when will we go next year - and that would be my graduation trip :O.

Trivia:

- The Beverly Hills Village is located atop the hills - probably the reason that it was named as it is.

- The river the boat was cruising on was the same river Cesar Montano's film, Panaghoy sa Suba.

- With the tourism fever, the floating restaurants were envisioned providing tourists with a 1st class dining experience on board floating restaurants. The floating vessels are made up of a covered platform on top of two large outrigger boats which are joined together. The boats can accommodate up to 50 people. Source from Wikimapia.com

- The flower petals are "flavored" by the dressing (Honey and Mustard). Thus, if you taste the petal w/o the dressing, it'll taste like hell.

Goodbye Sentra, Hello XUV
Sunday, March 15, 2009 @ 1:33 PM
Current Mood: Good.
Current Music: Puso - Spongecola.

Our car, the 11 year-old Nissan Sentra was already sold yesterday. Geeze. I'll totally miss that small car that had a huge part in the family. Sentra, as I want to call it, was a part of our family for almost 11 years (1998-2009). It had been a huge part of the family. It had traveled to many places - Pasig, Baguio, Nueva Ecija, Hundred Islands, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Makati, Quezon City, Manila, Pasay (NAIA), Laguna, and many places I can't remember. It was sold to a family friend's friend. I don't know where it is actually now D:

Though it was sad to say goodbye to Sentra, a new car just arrived yesterday. It was an Isuzu XUV. Its color black, and much bigger to Sentra (our gate was "renovated" because of it XD). Its automatic, and its just really cool. Though it has no TVs and DVD, its okay (dunno why we didn't bought the Sportivo one.)

Here're some pics of our new car:

Wednesday, it will be XUV's first long drive. Dad will arrive on that day too :D

Foundation. Prom. A Week Before School Ends and Et Ceteras.

Current Music: Your Song (One and Only You) by Parokya ni Edgar

Sorry if I haven't had updated for a looooooong time (for the nth time that is). I guess because its because of school, lack of time, and, sadly, its also because of boredom.

But, here I am again, to share my life. At least.

96th Founding Anniversary

So the foundation week lasted for a week (duh. xD) (February 16-20, excluding 21 for me since that was the Alumni Homecoming). It was fun, though not as much as it was last year. The booths were fewer, probably because both stages - the temporary and the renovated one, the Crown Jewel - were both used. The octopus was also removed after the first day since there were no more space...and that's because of the ground demo. So instead of the octopus ride, they replaced it with a Ferris Wheel, and that's what we rode in during our free day xD

Monday. We actually didn't do anything in some subjects, so it was quite a boring day.

Tuesday. It was Batch 2's free day, so it was obvious that we didn't do anything for the whole day. We stayed in the grounds for the whole day. We ate, bought some stuffs from the booths, rode the Ferris Wheel, and waited for dismissal to come.

Wednesday. We danced in the grounds at around 4 PM. We danced Shine Jesus Shine. And finally, dance practices were finally over xD

Thursday. Again, we didn't' do anything much. We watch a Friendship Game of PCC Employees and DZMM and WRR people. Ted Failon, an anchor of TV Patrol World, was also there to play. He was the celebrity guest of the game though.

And Friday. Classes were cut at around 11 - one of the earliest dismissal of the school year due to the concert at the afternoon. My bestfriend would've watched it with me, but when we were both there, she was not allowed to enter, due to the reason of being an outsider. Geeze, she studied in PCC for around 9 years. So she just left and me, I just watched with my friends inside. Callalily was there too though (see the picture of them above).

Prom (Juniors' Night)

One of the most awaited of a High School student, the Promenade. It happened just last Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Galleria. The Juniors' Night, since no Seniors were there, was great. Though being excited, at the same time being nervous, before the prom and being tired after it, it was a fun experience.

Okay, so I won't tell the whole thing. You would experience it when you'll be a Third/Fourth Year though xD

PS. I won't put any of my prom pictures here. Wahaha.

A Week Before the School Year ENDS!

Finally~! The school year's just about to end. Just one week to go before I can go online the whole day and just do the same things I did last summer. But, I know, it would be quite a bummer. No more school again, sad, yet, that's just the way a student life's goes.

Just today, we had our last test. But I actually didn't feel that it was the last. Yesterday, I really felt that yesterday was the last exam. It was weird, but good thing it finished today. And yes, school's not yet over, next week, it will be over :D.

And Et Ceteras...

FrancisM passed away a week ago. I was quite shocked when I first heard it over someone. I thought he was already okay, though I know that he was fighting over leukemia. It was quite a sad news. And just a few days ago, he was laid to rest. FrancisM, though I've never met your personally before, have a great journey together with our Creator.

So I guess that would be all today. Its cool that I can summarize my life like this. It looks like it just happened for a minute. LOL. Though it really happened in like, already a month.

Happy Friday the 13th though. But really, its whatever. Waha.

PS. I'm trying to look for a better layout...Again. xP

See you again real soon! Now, where did that line came from?
