Hello again, reader.

I'm back after a week of hiatus. XD

Oh well then, this week has been great, actually. Though, a very close person to me passed away, it was still memorable.

First off, I'll start my story last Sunday. At around 2 in the morning, this close person of mine aka a grand mother of mine (which happens to be my actual grand mother's sister/Ate) passed away around my family relatives in Bulacan. So, my Mom woke me up at around 5:30 saying about it. Then, when we got there and we were told to look at her "body" in the coffin, I denied since I have already seen her face, but a far from it. My Ate started crying, then, I started crying, then 2 of my cousins (who knew her for a long time too) started crying. When I noticed it, I started smiling and started saying to myself of "stop crying because the dead will hate others crying about her". I was also laughing, of course, since I don't want Lola to be mad at me. Lol. Later, Tuesday, I went to school almost late for the English Month Assembly. So, I was asked to sit in front of our section's line, and there. Then, unexpectedly, a small earthquake occurred at around 12:30 PM. First, I thought that my best friend (who sits behind me) was only playing with my chair. Then, my classmates started shouting "EARTHQUAKE" and they also started panicking. Our AP teacher started telling them that panicking won't help at all. So, we all went out after a 3rd Yr. teacher instructed us. We were at the main entrance/exit (aka the Centennial Gate) for about an hour. It was fun though, but still, classes continued on. Then today, my Lola's interment, she was buried in the cemetery somewhere in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. Her "apartment" is quite small though, how I wished we were quite "rich" so that we would only cremate her and would only put her in the house in Bulacan or here or in the waters of Leyte (her home province). But, we're not that "rich" and a lot even had money as their condolence.

And about the title, Popcorn and Coke. I'll tell you another story about how I really treated Lola as a friend of mine. I think this happen a year ago or so, probably last year. She was still living in our house (or here) back then. I was hungry, so I looked for the popcorn, while I was cooking the popcorn in the microwave, Lola wondered what was it, I said its popcorn. After it was cooked, I gave her some. And another story, which happen just last sumer (before the elections), I opened a bottle of coke in which I have forgotten about when you open the bottle, the coke will just suddenly burst. So then it burst, and two little cousins of mine were laughing about it. I gave Lola a little of the coke (since there were none left, XD), and at that time, it was the last time I heard her say "Thank you." So, these stories were on my mind for three days, and with these stories, I cried because I cannot give her anymore popcorn or coke, and I will not hear her voice and her sweet "Thank You" anymore.

Lola Bining (but I just call her Lola before), wherever you are, I will still remember you forever. Even though you won't receive any popcorn or coke or I will never hear your voice again, your stories and memories will be in me forever. I promise I will not cry anymore, and I promise I will never forget you."

I saw a picture of us a while ago, but since our scanner's broken already and I still have to charge that camera, I will just post it tomorrow.

From the Outbound to Today

Its been a while since I posted here, actually, I have saved a post about our outbound a week ago, but got bored, and have no time of actually posting it on the blog.

Outbound. We went mostly in the Province of Rizal, two different churches in Morong and Baras (wherein that church was the church where Lupin was taped), a cave which I have forgotten what's the name (it was scary there since we only have a few lights :P), and the last was the falls (which I swam with only ONE extra shirt. HAHA). Over-all, the outbound was a blast. It was the best for this year, compared to our retreat last July which sucked (for me and for some).

Report Card. My grades lowered in most of the subject, but at least I had a 79 in Math and not 75. My RHGP (or Homeroom for others) sucked since I got 76. And now, I have the feeling of hating my adviser again, lol.

Well, I guess those are just the only things I would share. I also got addicted to a book entitled "The Star Group" by Christopher Pike. Its a book about 6 people who had graduated HS and will discover they are "special" or sort of like that. I read it just because of our English Project, but, it gave me an opportunity to love books again since I haven't been reading one for ages (except for the Deathly Hallows which I can't read for a day :P).

That's all for now. My mom told me we would go somewhere since it's Friday today and its Personnels Day in our school which we PCCians, have no classes.

-Thanks to Naruto Central for the Naruto emoticons though. I steal them, but I would just like to thank them. XD

Exposure.

Current LSS: Lead Me Lord - Gary Valenciano. I really don't know why, but, I just loved it after our teacher let us listened to it. Its a great song though...A really great song.

We had our exposure today.

Sadly, I didn't bring my camera. Our adviser might confiscate it because the officers inspected our bags. You know our officers, they really give those kind of stuffs to the teacher if they were expected. Stupid right?

But anyway, so like what I said, we had our exposure today. Some of you may know it while others don't. An exposure is the same way as the "outreach", or should I say, its one of the parts of an outreach. More likely the Soup Kitchen, but here, you can interview the families and help them with their house chores.

We went to Brgy. Sumilang, which can took us about 10-15 minutes to walk since it's quite near to our school. We went inside their chapel first, then someone from Sumilang [she's part of the Barangay Hall or whatever her job is there XD] told a short history about their town. After it, we went to the place where we are going to do our exposure. Every time we stop by a house, most of my classmates would go at the end of the line [especially when we were only a few] since they don't want to be first and they don't want to be located in a very poor family. I mean, we all did think of that all of the families are poor there. But, when it was our [my best friend and I] turn, we were surprised by the house we went in. The house was nice, they have a TV [in which the owner or Kuya Allen told us that they had a cable connection before :P], a kitchen, a CR, the floor are composed of tiles, and a second floor. They're not that poor, but I can say they have a normal living. We fold their clothes first, then, after folding them, my best friend started interviewing him. Nagulat nga ako kasi hindi ko naman ineexpect na magsasalita siya at magtatanong.

So, Kuya Allen talked about his family. He has two kids, a girl who is five and a boy who is four. His wife passed away already [he told me that], and when he said that, I was amazed because he took care of his kids. Not all fathers will do that right? Some fathers/husbands even leave their wives even if she's still alive. But anyway, I'll stop talking about that. There's this woman whom I thought it was his wife, but he said it was a wife of his brother. And, he also told us that some Povedans went there already. Haha, how I wished we had the same schedule as them since I do want to meet one. I know one Povedan, but, she doesn't really speak about it.Then after that, we did nothing, but just sat there and watch Pokemon in GMA [because they had already disconnected their cable connection since the shows are only repeating themselves, and it also makes you spend MORE money]. I have another story to share, when we were still walking, I can see lots of houses tuned in GMA. So from watching, we asked Kuya Allen if a lot of families are Kapusos, and he said yes. Then, when his children came home after playing outside, we decided to play with them outside [since they went outside again], and their, we can see some of our classmates in which is near us. Some of them were doing nothing, some of them were buying foods in the nearby store, and some even took their "children" bath. My best friend kept on telling me on how she wished we wash our "children", well, it would be fun...If I brought the camera. Our adviser and Sister Merly checked on each of us, so they also went to ours too. Ms. Velarde [adviser] even took a stolen picture of us. Then, we just talked with the kids, my best friend taught them, while I wrote a reminder of the different informations of the family.

When the clock struck eleven, as the children were already eating, our classmates called us. We said goodbye and thanks to them, got out the house, then I suddenly remembered that we should give the "goods" to the family. We went there again then gave them the goods. That was the last time we saw them. [No, actually, that was the last time we saw Kuya Allen, we even saw his children outside and the girl waved goodbye to us. So, that was the last time we saw them.] We walked back to our school again, to eat lunch, and have the evaluation on the exposure on our classroom. After three hours in staying in school, we finally went home.

This exposure's probably the best even happened this year. Then, after seven days, we would go to an outbound in Morong, Rizal. Don't know if it is far as Pampanga, but my Mom said its far.

That's all for today~!
Ta-ta.
