Sore Eyes.
Thursday, September 13, 2007 @ 3:54 PM
I'm currently suffering from a sickness called "now-i-can't-go-to-school-tomorrow-to-watch-the-presentation-for-Paraiso-of-my-classmates". No, actually, that's just another of my problems, but I'm currently suffering from the so-called Sore Eyes. For the whole of my life, I've only experienced having sore eyes twice (when I was in 2nd or 3rd Grade...and now) and except the fact I was a baby.

I really didn't noticed it during this morning, so I went to school. Then, at some time in the morning, I already feel the itchiness of my eyes, but then, I didn't really mind it. Then, after P.E. time, that's the time the red-ness appeared. I asked my seatmate about it and she said my right eye was really red. I was lucky since after Computer (the subject after P.E.) would be our lunch. I ate a few of my lunch (baon) and my best friend and I went to the clinic. At the clinic, my fellow decided to leave me there...(without a reason). As I was in the clinic, there were many High School and Grade School coming back and forth, a few of females and quite many males. I've even heard the nurses talking about having 100-300 students/patients daily inside the clinic in which many of them are JUST having head aches and other aches *suddenly remembers her former 1st Yr. adviser :)*. Yes, I remembered my former adviser...I do liked her as our adviser, even though many of us hated her. She said about us having too many absences because of having different aches...And this is what she said: (this isn't the real thing she said though, but its quite the same)

"Pumasok pa rin kayo kahit may head ache kayo...O kung ano mang ache-ache yun."

The funny part there was the word "ache-ache". It was really a weird advise. Lol.

So, going back to the present, I really expect the nurse to say "I advise you to go home". Then, after many minutes of waiting after she checked about 3-5 patients, she advised me to go home. I called our house 10 times I think, and no one was answering. Then, when I called again, my Ate's friend (who's staying here for a long time) finally picked the phone saying that my mom's not around. But, she suggested she would go online, IM my Ate, then my Ate will text Mom. I didn't thought about it, and I just said that she (my mom) should pick me up at the clinic. While I was waiting for my Mom, I never realized that many students would go inside and just check if they're sick or not. Most of the patients were Grade School and High School students, and most of them were 2nd Yr. students (and no, I didn't see anyone I know). I was wondering why they want to go to the clinic even though they're having headaches...They just spent their time walking going to the clinic (and staying for seconds or minutes) and going back to their classrooms with their handbooks on their hands. Just like what I said above, there are too many students going inside and outside the clinic just for a day just because of aches.

At around pass noon, my mom arrived to pick me up. A college student assistant went to my classroom to get my bag. (I was wondering how my classmates reacted when she said that I'll be going home XD). Then we went home after she returned my bag.

Hindi ko tuloy mapapanood ang Paraiso bukas. Gr.
