educational outbound trip (oct. 11,2006)
Thursday, October 12, 2006 @ 4:02 PM
the outbound was kinda fun. half of it was not really, half is really great.

first off, we traveled Pasig-Pampanga, i think it was an hour or so. we didn't went to EDSA, we went to the roads of U.P. Diliman-Ateneo-Miriam, it was damn great, seeing those schools i want to see. then straight to NLEX.

first site was the church in i-forgot-the-place in Pampanga, wherein the first floor of it was buried by the lahar last June 15, 1991 (the date when the Mt. Pinatubo errupted). the only things that was left was the two big windows before, now they're the main doors, the half of the roof (some of the woods are still the original ones), and some of the images etc. are buried below. the bell tower got shorter too, and the whole church, if you are outside, you can notice that the church itself is much smaller than your town churches. outside the church, just beside the street, we also saw two houses that drown during the lahar flow, their roofs are the only ones left. but also, in that place, we also saw already houses, well, i think their life change after 16 years of that accident there.

the second place we visited is the Clark Air Base in Clark, Angeles, Pampanga. Kuya "Kim" (i forgot his real name, but we just call him Kuya Kim because he really looks like the one in channel 2...you know, the Weather Weather Lang newscaster), said that the Americans and other nations can only enter Clark or Fort Stratosberg before because of its cold weather and really good land. but because of the Mt. Pinatubo erruption, the weather changed to warm because the sand or the lahar can absorb heat. but still, we also saw Americans there. on the other hand, we first visited the Pampanga Museum, where we saw the famous PampangeƱos like Cardinal Rufino Santos , Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino, Gil Puyat, Diosdado Macapagal, and many more.

third is the Clark Museum, where we saw the history of Clark, from the former Fort Stratosberg to the present Clark. i have this weird story, when nina and i are copying the 12 Magnificent, a girl in front of us said "si rafela oh..", why the heck...no, i really dont know her. for infos, she was wearing brown sun glasses, kung sino ka man magpakilala ka, di kita kasi kakilala eh, but anyways, thanks for knowing my name and saying hello to me ^_^

third was the Kamikaze Cave (no, not the famous band that sang the famous First Day High and Narda), the place wherein lots of Japanese soldiers died. when we entered the cave, the entrance was damn small, if you are about 5'0-5'3 you can enter the cave without bending your body, you can just enter. okay, i enter with my back bending, dandan was just beside me, and kitomi is in front of us. when we entered, it was kinda cold (hmmm..ghosts?), and it was hell yeah dark, so when we were in half of the cave, everyone in the girls (except for me and some, i was laughing all the way! LOLZ) started shouting and i dont know why! after the shouting part, the facilitators said that we should be more quiet, because the cave is only manmade, if we kept on shouting and shouting the sounds will vibrate and it will cause an earthquake inside. well, at least the earthquake part didnt came true ^_^.

after the cave we had our lunch in the picnic ground, a place named CDC grounds i think. there were horses and bikes, like the ones in Tagaytay, but we are not allowed to take the horses (waaah...hahah, isip bata eh no). i was with kitomi and naomi, we sat at the first table (hiwa-hiwalay talaga), and the "great" thing was we are with unknowns or should i say not from antipolo nor cubao nor butuan. hahaha. it was damn hell yeah cool.

after that, naomi and i struggled the place since kitomi went to butuan. buwaahhahahah. we went away from them, well, not really "AWAY" at baka ma-iwan kami ng bus (waaaaahhh). well, we just threw the ice cream sachet there.

the next place we visited is a river with lahar/dried lahar (forgot again the name of the river, it starts with S i think). there, the fun started, i took 13 pictures because of the tug-of-war game...hahahha...the funniest picture is when luis' brief is already seen, buwahahahha...how evil am i, ne?

the very last place is the duty free in puregold. well, guess what? the PRICES are in DOLLARS, but good thing is that they allow Pesos. its true, its my first time to visit Duty Free w/o dollars in my pockets, because everytime we go to the Duty Free in ParaƱaque, we have dollars in our money. so i have a hard time to found out how much are the 2 chocolates i bought. well, the toblerone cost around $ 0. 58 i think, and the hershey's costs at around $ 0.70.

then at 4:00 we went inside the bus, well, naomi just bought one big bag of Lay's (addict talaga eh noh), and i bought two pack of chocolates.

at around 6:00 pm, inside the bus, our facilitators told us some ghost stories.

well, some are freaky, some are not. and im still wondering, is it true that Kuya Onald really have a companion ghost inside Butuan's bus? hmmm...maybe YES, maybe NO.

tomorrow's Friday the 13th and for hell yeah, i don't know it...hahahha...i really dont :D and tomorrow's my first opposite day in PCC, woooh! go CUBAO!!!!

thought of the day:

on the first, im not close with cubao; on the second im going closer with it; and on the third, im really close with them. why others said that we are the worst? no we're not, as long as we're still together, one team, one weird family, and one great section. that's I-Diocese of Cubao, sometimes close sometimes not sometimes worst.
